Hello Bloodhunt Community!
We are happy to announce that Bloodhunt has gone gold, and the Bloodhunt servers will be available for both PC and PS5 on 27 April from 10:00 CEST / 01:00 AM PT.
There are some important details that we need to share with you though, so please read through the details below on how we intend to make sure as many as possible have a good experience from launch.
LAUNCH SCHEDULE:
PC Early Access Players & PS5 Players
PC Early Access and PS5 players will be able to jump into the game directly as the servers go live on 27 April at 10:00 CEST / 01:00 AM PT
New PC Players
We will expand the launch to new PC players by enabling install and join from 18:00 CEST / 9:00 AM PT on 27 April.
We are looking at the availability of a possible pre-load of the game, but we cannot confirm any specifics for now.
KNOWN ISSUES AT LAUNCH:
We are already working on the game’s first update which will be focused on further refining the quality of the game, and squishing any bugs that have a high impact on the game experience.
Below we have listed the known issues we have identified for the launch version. We will prioritise these issues and, as always, if you discover any bugs while playing the game that are not listed, feel free to reach out to us on our #bughunt channel on discord.gg/Bloodhunt.
- Freezes on PC
We have identified a freeze related to our new anti-cheat. We have created a temporary workaround that you could try out if you encounter it. https://support.sharkmob.com/hc/en-us/articles/5308137856273
- Interrupting the reload animation can lead to bullets in the active magazine not causing any damage
The launch version comes with a partial fix that should reduce the frequency of the issue. Still, it’s worth remembering to avoid interrupting reload animations, particularly towards the end of reloading.
- Minor visual issues with cosmetics and in the in-game store
We have identified several issues regarding the cosmetics available in the game. This issue can manifest itself as rendering errors on the model and, in some rare cases, reset the previously selected customisation. What you have unlocked is safe, and you will simply have to reselect the item you wish to equip once again if this happens.
- Some text is too long and is going out of bounds
There are some issues with translations, text overlaps and readability.
- Red gas-related issues
We are tracking several red gas issues, including audio queues that keep playing related to the gas and the gas not always visually lining up correctly with the hitboxes.
- Issues with quests
We have identified that players might not be able to complete the “Stakeout” and “Damage Report, Part 1” quests.
We are working on resolving these issues as fast as we can.
Patch notes will be published in the coming days leading up to the launch.
We look forward to welcoming you back to Prague and until next time, see you at dusk!
