Hello Bloodhunt Community!
Creating a fair and safe gaming environment is very important for us here at Sharkmob.
During the Early Access phase of Bloodhunt, some of you reached out about cheaters and hackers that you encountered in the game. Many of you also gave us recommendations on what kind of anti-cheat software you liked and would like us to investigate to see if it could be implemented in Bloodhunt.
Today, we are happy to tell you that, based on your feedback, we have decided to implement Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC) into Bloodhunt. EAC is a well-known anti-cheat client that is used by many of the bigger online titles today. This new client will be implemented when we launch Bloodhunt.
We hope that this will lead to a more positive gaming experience for all of you, and we will continuously evaluate the software to be able to get the most out of it.
In addition to implementing new anti-cheat software, we are also increasing the number of staff that will be looking at anti-cheat reports, as we want to cut down the time it takes for us to act against the most aggressive cheaters.
As always, we will need your help when it comes to reporting. We ask you to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity that you may encounter. As a way to make this easier, we have been working on adding in-game reporting tools. We will share more details about this in the near future.
But do keep in mind that we would still very much appreciate getting videos sent to us of potential cheaters through our customer support portal, if the cheating that is occurring is not glaringly obvious.
We look forward to welcoming you back to Bloodhunt running on EAC!
